The amusement parks near the capital have put on their party clothes and are ready with a special festive programme that will delight young and old alike. Also include in your itinerary the Festival of Wonders and an enchanting show at the Winter Circus.
Christmas fun in the amusement parks
Disneyland Paris is the perfect place to spend magical moments with your family. The wonder that is Christmas remains right here until January 7th, thanks to the festive contributions of the Disney characters and Santa Claus. Fireworks, a majestic Christmas tree and dazzling parades punctuate the days and nights in this incredible park. Four new shows, as well as Disney Dreams, an unforgettable night-time spectacular (with a special 25th anniversary flavour), will amaze both children and their parents.
The Grande Roue de la Concorde, that great symbol of the end of the year festivities, returns this year to enchant Parisians and visitors alike. You are invited to climb aboard one of this huge Ferris wheel’s 48 pods, which accommodate some 300,000 visitors each year, and thrill to a breathtaking view 70 metres above the streets of Paris. High in the sky you’ll enjoy a 360° panorama of the Jardin des Tuileries, the Louvre and the lights of the Champs-Elysées.
At the Parc de la Villette you’ll find a traditional-style funfair offering more than 60 attractions. From December 9th, 2017 to January 7th, 2018 you can immerse yourself in a festive atmosphere and ride the carousel, rollercoasters, dodgems, ghost train... and breathe in the tempting aroma of candyfloss!
Entertainment and magic at the Festival of Wonders
From December 26th, 2017 to January 7th, 2018, the Musée des Arts Forains (Museum of Fairground Arts) opens its doors for several days of festivities that mix attractions, shows and magic. This charming event features magicians, storytellers, puppeteers and acrobats to entertain you, while automatons, games and rides delight and amaze. The museum this year takes on the appearance of a giant and completely surreal music box animated by invisible musicians. Shows and surprises await you!

In the legendary ring of the Winter Circus
At the Cirque d'Hiver (Winter Circus), enchanting shows are presented season after season without ever resembling each other. In recent years, the latest generation of the Bouglione circus family has taken over the Cirque d'Hiver and breathed new life into it. At Christmas, excellence, elegance and perfect performances will, as always, be the hallmarks of this oldest circus in the world. Monsieur Loyal and the white clown will take pleasure in presenting Exploit, a show featuring acrobats, aerialists, tightrope walkers and trained animals... not to mention the brilliant Rob Torres, a hilarious American clown. Thrills and laughs guaranteed!
