Marais Bastille, the dream area for art lovers

“Le Marais of Creators” is how the magazine Coté Maison presented one of the most emblematic quarters of Paris. And for good reason! The area boasts a number of galleries, honouring art in all its forms.
Marais: galleries to visit without delay
Yvon Lambert was the first to establish himself in the Marais, after falling in love with a former prosthesis factory in Rue Vieille-du-Temple, which today exhibits original and fascinating works. Lacen throws the spotlight on various artists and holds a range of events including previews and themed dinners. Photography enthusiasts must stop at Wanted, where contemporary photographs are sold at affordable prices.
Tomorrow’s designers await discovery at Next Level, and Danish design from the 1950s to 1970s at Galerie Dansk.
