Return to the world of AVATAR

Although the Cirque du Soleil’s 2018 production, TOTEM, is still touring, the 37th production and latest spectacular creation of the famous circus company has already been announced. TORUK - The First Flight opens on April 4th, 2019. This live multimedia show takes you to the heart of the extraordinary universe of James Cameron's AVATAR. The viewer is immediately immersed in the setting of a fantastic tale that takes place thousands of years before the world of Pandora was discovered by humans. TORUK - The First Flight is an official prequel sanctioned by Cameron himself. Technological wonders combine with extraordinary performances, unforgettable characters, cutting-edge visuals, puppetry, graceful athleticism, circus artistry and stagecraft to bring you a powerful and moving story accompanied by a soaring score worthy of the biggest Hollywood productions.

If you were enchanted by the Na'vi, the strange but wonderful blue people of Pandora and their symbiotic relationship with nature, you will surely be spellbound by TORUK - The First Flight. Return to the world of AVATAR, the greatest adventure movie of all time, and watch as the Na'vi are forced to fight to fulfil a prophecy that will save them from a terrible fate.

The Cirque du Soleil; at the top of their game since 1984

Following on from the productions Saltimbanco, Alegria, Quidam, Varekaï and Michael Jackson; The Immortal World Tour, which was an incredible tribute to the King of Pop in 2013, the auditorium of the AccorHotels Arena once again welcomes the prestigious Canadian circus company called the Cirque du Soleil. A total of 32 shows have been created by the Cirque du Soleil since it was launched in 1984 by Daniel Gauthier and Guy Laliberté, two former street performers from Montreal. Today directed by Daniel Lamarre, the Cirque du Soleil, which employs 1,300 creative personnel from around 50 different countries, has been showered with accolades over the years, including the Drama Desk Award, a recognition of excellence in theatrical productions.

No animals are made to perform at the Cirque du Soleil. Lion tamers and the like are replaced by astonishingly talented acrobats and other performers. The sets and the costumes are dazzling. The circus and its troupe promise to enthral you and reaffirm yet again their supreme virtuosity and mastery of all aspects of their art; a mastery recognised on all continents.
